Mira Plus in an Aftonbladet supplement

Mira Plus has a page in an Aftonbladet summer supplement, under the headline MiraPlus — vetenskaplig väg till balans, hälsa och livskvalitet: a scientific path to balance, health and quality of life.

Worth saying plainly, because it's how these supplements work: Aftonbladet came to us, but carrying our name and contact details meant paying for the space. So this is our page rather than a journalist's verdict on us — and it's still the first long piece written about how we work.

It's in Swedish. Here's what it covers, for anyone reading in English.

The shortage isn't information

There's a great deal of information out there — but a great deal of confusion too. We use technology to find the changes that genuinely produce results. It isn't about trends. It's about science.

That's the thread running through the whole piece, and it's the same one behind everything on this site. Health advice has never been easier to find. Knowing which part of it applies to you has never been harder.

Two people, one goal, different routes

Two people with similar goals may need completely different paths to get there.

This is why we don't hand out plans. What works depends on your body, your week, your job and who else is depending on you — and none of that fits a template.

Eating well isn't the same as eating enough of the right things

Many people eat "healthily" and still miss important nutrients. We help our clients understand what their own body needs — not just what they eat, but how much, when, and in what combination.

The article was written for midsummer, so it ends on something seasonal and unserious: eat a wider range of colours. A plate with more colours on it is usually a plate with more different vegetables on it, and Swedish summer makes that easy — salmon, fresh berries, green leaves.

The background behind it

The piece also covers where this approach comes from: data analysis in healthcare settings in Egypt, a Master of Scientific Computing at KTH, master's studies in healthy-living technologies at KTH and Karolinska Institutet, and training as a nutrition coach and yoga instructor alongside all of it.

It's an unusual combination. It's also the reason Mira Plus starts from the whole person rather than one symptom at a time. There's more on the About page.
